Hello, I am Ricky Soh. I am truly honoured being invited to be a part of The Trishawman team and I will certainly try my best to assist and support Frankie Tan in helping him achieve his   “tarik beca” and cuti-cuti Malaysia mission. I would like to make some sincere comment about our dear friend. What I have to say below is the truth and nothing but the truth…

Noble and selfless. These are the two most apt words to describe Frankie (or our dear Sifu as we fondly call him for as long as we can remember!). It is never easy for a 40-year old (oops! I have unintentionally disclosed your age, Sifu!) to “tarik beca” not to mention about his noble plan to “tarik beca” all the way from Malacca to Penang in the name of charity! If this is not noble and selfless act, then I really don’t know what is!

Having known him and being one of his closest friends for the past 30 years (yes, since our primary school days and of course the countless fond and unforgettable memories we shared during our growing-up years till now), I can vouch that Sifu always has other peoples’ interests, needs and wishes at heart – even to those whom he doesn’t know. He never fails to go the extra mile and put in extra effort (without being asked!) to render his help to the best of his ability and expects absolutely nothing in return. So it’s not surprising really, when he shared with us his noble dream and laudable mission of “tarik beca” from Malacca to Penang in order to raise money for several charitable homes. I doubt not his sincerity and pledge to turn this mission into a huge success!

Let’s wish and pray that our dear Sifu all the very best for an exciting, enjoyable and most importantly, a safe “tarik beca” adventure!
