We took the 1st ferry leaving Langkawi for Kuala Kedah at 7.30 A.M. 1 ½ hours later we already in Kuala Kedah, had our breakfast, walked to the police station and set up our trishaw preparing for the journey.

Once again, thank you to the Kuala Kedah Police Station for granted us the permission to park our trishaw and car in the police station.

Well, just like most places our next target was to Yan and heading toward Sg Petani. We will usually decide where and when to stop after we have checked out the place. After a 40++ KM ride we arrived at Yan Besar @ 1 PM and decided to break for lunch. From there we checked out with the locals about Jerai Mountain (Gunung Jerai) and then decided to put up a night in Batu Hampar, Yan Besar at the foot of Jerai Mountain.

Once again, we left our trishaw at the police station, YAN Police Station. The road heading to Batu Hampar from the main road was quite a distance away and therefore, we decided the best thing to do is to leave the trishaw at the police station.

While we were resting at the seaside area, we saw an UFO (Unidentified Floating Object). There’s a bridge seemed floating on the sea surface from far and later we went to find out more information from the locals and decided to make a trip there later in the afternoon. The chalet that we were staying was right in the middle of no where, too, covered by thick jungle.
