The Sri Poyyatha Vinayagar Moorthi Temple was one of the country’s first Hindu temples to be built. This 1781 building was dedicated to Ganesha, the elephant-headed god. It is built on Jalan Tokong, where many religious houses in Malacca are located. Despite its age, the temple is still in use.
