2 days ago (4th July, Sat) the residents of my housing estate (Taman Pertam Jaya) have planned a welcome home party for me. Though it was supposed to be a surprise party but because I came home much earlier than expected so, it was rather difficult to keep it a secret from me.

I am very lucky indeed to have such a caring, friendly, warm, generous, understanding, kind and supportive neighbours in my area. I guess that explains all why here is such a good place to live-in.

The reception was great and a very big thank you and hat off to ALL the committee members who have worked very hard organising the event. Well, besides the welcoming home party, it’s also a good time for all the neighbours to get together, shared some jokes and have fun. We usually have such an event few times a year (festive seasons mainly) and so this has added as a bonus occasion for all of us; a reason to let loose and enjoy ourselves He! He!

Overall, we had about 200 people attended this pot-luck party and seriously, the amount of food we had really shown how much we enjoy eating. Everybody cooked their best dishes /  delicacies and at the end of the day we even had enough to takeaway. Yummy! Yummy!

Well, as I have previously mentioned in my earlier blogs, besides my family members, few of my neighbours actually went all out supporting my event. OK! OK! I promised not to mention names again. These neighbours and also, my good friends were the reason why the whole event had been accomplished, SUCCESSFULLY!!!
